GUBBINS

Gubbins, originally a British term for the leftovers of a fish cleaning, morphed into a collection of oddments and gewgaws. I had a sheet metal G purchased years before. I wrapped it in fabric scraps I’d found and some of my son’s discarded boxer shorts (note the penguins and large white dots on orange) I added wire leads to hold random items from my box of found objects. You’ll note the yellow plastic fish in the bottom opening, a nod to the word’s origin.
